Introduction to Borosilicate Glass 
Borosilicate glass is a specialized glass with a high boron content, renowned for its exceptional properties such as high-temperature resistance, low thermal expansion, superior strength, and excellent light transmittance.
Widely used in household, pharmaceutical, and industrial applications, its primary components include silicon dioxide (SiO₂) and boron trioxide (B₂O₃), with a boron content of 12%~15%. With outstanding chemical stability and resistance to acid/alkali corrosion, it serves as a premium material for high-end glass products, offering three core advantages:
1、High-Temperature & Thermal Shock Resistance
Capable of withstanding extreme temperature differentials of 120°C~150°C (vs. 50°C for ordinary glass), its thermal expansion coefficient is as low as 3.3~5.0×10⁻⁶/K (vs. 8×10⁻⁶/K for conventional glass). Ideal for microwave-safe cookware, ovenware, and laboratory glassware.
2、High Strength & Corrosion Resistance
Boasts impact resistance and chemical durability 3 times greater than standard glass, making it the material of choice for pharmaceutical injection vials.
3、High Clarity & Ultra-Low Impurity
Light transmittance ≥91% (vs. 85% for regular glass) with impurity levels below 0.01%, meeting stringent optical requirements for advanced electronic displays and photovoltaic modules.
